Centric Software is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and integrate Azure solutions for clients. The role covers requirements, cloud services deployment, security, compliance, and operations with collaboration across R&D, Sales, and Delivery teams.

Responsibilities include deploying Azure resources, securing environments, monitoring performance, and managing IaC scripts. A degree and Azure certifications are required, with about 1 year of Microsoft tech experience.

• 1 year working with Microsoft technologies and Azure.
• Azure resources and their management; Infrastructure as Code via IaC tools; Azure DevOps; basic SQL knowledge; scripting and monitoring tools.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Azure Cloud Engineer

1. GENERAL JOB SUMMARY

The Azure Cloud Engineer provides high quality technical design, implementation, and integration to clients hosted in Azure Cloud; this job role will have opportunities to be involved in all stages of a project - covering requirements, cloud services deployment, security and compliance, systems engineering and operational readiness. In addition to knowledge of core Azure services it brings experience in performing systems engineering tasks as part of a project team and supports R&D, Sales, and Delivery teams during Customers projects’ lifecycle.

2. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage cloud implementation in Azure (Azure Entra ID, Storage, SQL Databases, AppService, Key Vault, Data Factory, Virtual Machines, etc.).
• Implementation of security measures to protect the Customers’ environments.
• Monitor Azure resources and services to recover performance issues and guarantee infrastructure availability.
• Implement and maintain scripts to create and update environments in Azure using an Infrastructure as Code approach.
• Support R&D, Sales and Delivery teams during the projects’ lifecycle.
• Achieve Microsoft certifications for Azure technologies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent overall knowledge; Azure certifications and training.

Work Experience

1 year working with Microsoft technologies and Azure

Knowledge

• Azure resources and their management

• Infrastructure as Code implementation via Biceps, OpenTofu, Terraform or equivalent

• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

• Basic SQL server knowledge
