Job summary

Rapid Finance is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design and manage Azure cloud infrastructure for multiple applications. You will publish applications, research new cloud technologies, and guide DevOps practices while automating routine tasks.

As a bridge between IT and software development, you’ll coordinate across teams to advance our cloud strategy and implement robust, automated processes using the latest tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
• Deep knowledge of Azure resources, services and tools.
• Experience with Helm and Terraform.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and artifact storage.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Experience administering web services.
• Experience managing Windows servers in cloud environments.
• Understanding of core network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL).
• Experience building dashboards/monitoring for Azure services and clusters.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like TeamCity or Octopus.
• Experience with database management tools (e.g. Redgate).

Responsibilities

• Administer cloud infrastructure to support multi‑application hosting.
• Research and implement security, storage and replication processes and tools.
• Coordinate software publishing infrastructure to cloud.
• Facilitate connectivity and support in a DevOps capacity.
