Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a Cloud and DevOps Engineer II (Medical Devices) in Sylmar, CA to advance CI/CD pipelines, automate cloud infrastructure, and maintain scalable Azure solutions. You will work closely with clinical solutions teams to ensure reliability, compliance, and efficiency across cloud and on-premises environments.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in Cloud/DevOps, strong Azure DevOps experience, and familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible, plus Python/PowerShell

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 2+ years of work experience in Cloud/DevOps roles.
• Familiarity with Azure PaaS and IaaS cloud services.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• Basic IaC using Terraform, Ansible, ARM, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate cloud infrastructure and services for efficiency.
• Manage Azure infrastructure, PaaS and IaaS services.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform, Ansible, ARM, and related tools.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and development teams to improve reliability and cost-efficiency.
• Monitor observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, PowerShell, Bash.
