Highlights For Children in Columbus, OH seeks an Azure Cloud Engineer – Data Platform to design, deploy, and operate Azure and Fabric-based data platforms. You will build secure data-movement pipelines, configure integration runtimes, and enable reliable data flows across enterprise systems.

You will apply IaC, cloud networking, and DevOps practices to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-efficient data workloads with strong governance and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of cloud engineering, data platform engineering, or data integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Azure and Fabric platform services.
• Build data-movement pipelines using Fabric Data Factory and Azure Data Factory.
• Configure secure connectivity, gateways, and integration runtimes.
• Enable secure connectivity between Fabric, Azure, and on-prem systems.
• Apply reusable ingestion and integration patterns with parameterized pipelines and error handling.
• Translate requirements into scalable, secure platform configurations.
• Develop development, testing, and production environments for data workloads.
• Use IaC modules with Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates.
• Develop CI/CD for Azure resources and pipelines using DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Automate provisioning, monitoring, and operational support activities.
• Support Azure networking components and hybrid connectivity.
• Manage credentials, secrets, and keys with Azure Key Vault.
• Monitor data flows and troubleshoot issues with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Prepare runbooks and governance artifacts; communicate with stakeholders.
