Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field.
• Five years of Azure migration experience.
• Proven experience using Python and SQL.
• Experience with Azure: Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake Storage, SQL DW, Analysis Services, and PySpark.
• ETL experience in data warehouse with slowly changing dimensions.
• Experience building and optimizing big data pipelines and data sets.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with JIRA.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations relating to IT for financial institutions.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and secure data pipelines and storage environments.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement data solutions.
• Ensure data cleansing, mapping, and transformation per requirements.
• Build data pipelines to streamline ingestion, processing, and distribution.
• Load transformed data into data warehouses and analytics systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data environments for high availability and performance.
• Provide on-call support for production systems.
• Implement data security measures including encryption and access controls.
• Utilize analytics services to provide actionable insights.
• Maintain documentation of data procedures and architectures.
• Mentor IT staff on security best practices and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate on technology plans to enhance security posture.
• Manage relationship with System Integrator and review SOWs.
