Job summary

Leidos Defense Sector seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer/Azure Coach to guide DoD program teams in leveraging Microsoft Azure for secure, compliant cloud solutions. This on-site role in Omaha, NE requires training, hands-on support, and best-practice mentoring to advance cloud capabilities and DevOps maturity across the program.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience or Master’s with 10+ years of experience.
• Proven Azure experience and DoD security/compliance knowledge.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions and workshops on Azure services and DoD-focused best practices.
• Provide one-on-one coaching on cloud architecture, development, and deployment processes.
• Assist in designing and implementing Azure-based solutions meeting security and compliance requirements.
• Evaluate team skills and create customized learning plans.
• Collaborate with project managers to align cloud strategies with goals.
• Stay updated on Azure and DoD cloud policies to provide relevant guidance.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing to enhance team expertise.
