Job summary

Paradigm Max Q LLC seeks an experienced Cloud Systems Administrator to manage Microsoft cloud and on‑premises infrastructure in a hybrid Stafford, VA environment. You will oversee Azure, AV Desktop, 365, Intune, Entra ID, Defender, SharePoint Online, and security controls to ensure secure, compliant enterprise operations.

The role emphasizes automation, security best practices, and ongoing modernization of IT infrastructure, with on‑call support and scheduled maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of systems administration experience in enterprise IT environments.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Experience supporting Windows Server operating systems.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365.
• Experience managing Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
• Experience with Microsoft Intune endpoint management.
• Experience supporting Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Experience administering SharePoint Online.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Defender security solutions.
• Experience managing hybrid Active Directory and cloud identity environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, including VMs, storage, networking, and monitoring.
• Deploy, configure, and support Azure Virtual Desktop environments (host pools, session hosts, user profiles).
• Administer Windows Server environments (installation, upgrades, patching, monitoring).
• Manage Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online).
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) including MFA, SSO, PIM, and Conditional Access.
• Manage Microsoft Intune for device configuration and MDM.
• Administer Microsoft Defender solutions (Defender for Endpoint/Office 365, XDR).
• Configure and maintain SharePoint Online sites and permissions.
• Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and enterprise authentication.
• Monitor infrastructure health, storage, and cloud resource performance.
• Perform system backups, DR testing, and BC planning.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate operations and reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity to implement baselines and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Create technical documentation and SOPs; support cloud migration and modernization efforts.
