TEKsystems in Lansing, MI is seeking a Cloud Architect to mature Microsoft Azure practices. You will define architecture, standards, governance, automation, and operations to deliver secure, resilient cloud services and enable developers to move systems to the cloud with clear ownership and repeatable practices.

Qualifications

• Deep Azure architecture and engineering experience across enterprise landing zones, management groups, subscriptions, networking, identity, compute, storage, platform services.
• Advanced infrastructure-as-code and automation with Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience designing secure Azure environments with least privilege, segmentation, encryption, and policy enforcement.
• Experience planning cloud migrations or modernization with measurable improvements post-migration.
• Experience establishing cloud operations, DevOps or SRE practices, including observability and FinOps.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement an Azure operating model, including landing zones, governance, patterns, and guardrails.
• Develop cloud adoption and migration roadmaps addressing dependencies, sequencing, cutover, readiness, and optimization.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, EA, application teams, data/analytics, risk, and vendors on cloud decisions.
• Establish operational practices for identity, networking, monitoring, logging, backup, recovery, resiliency, incident response, capacity, and cost management.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentor engineers, and create standards, runbooks, and training to boost long-term cloud capability.
