Job summary

STOPSO seeks a Senior Cloud Architect to design and operate a scaled Azure-based analytics environment for a federal client. You will configure landing zones, identity integration, security controls, and disaster recovery while overseeing cost optimization and performance tuning across the cloud stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/Engineering/IT or related field.
• Minimum 5 years designing enterprise cloud environments.
• Experience supporting Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with identity, networking, and security architecture.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain: Azure landing zones, Resource groups, Networking environments, Security controls.
• Deploy and support: Compute services, Storage services, Backup solutions, Disaster recovery capabilities.
• Integrate Azure services with: Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Sentinel, FTC security tools.
• Support: Storage optimization, Cost optimization, Scalability planning, Resiliency improvements.
