Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability).
• Hands-on provisioning/configuration of IaaS and PaaS services (VMs, app services, databases, storage, VNet, function apps, data factory, key vault, service bus, event grid, databricks).
• IaC automation with Terraform, ARM, PowerShell, etc.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with logging/monitoring (Log Analytics, App Insights, Azure Monitor).
• Ability to justify decisions with research and options, including pros/cons and recommendations.
• Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery patterns in the cloud.
• Troubleshooting complex infrastructure problems end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Azure cloud solutions.
• Lead CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps, automating builds, tests, and deployments.
• Define IaC with Terraform/ARM to ensure repeatable deployments.
• Provide architectural guidance and mentor peers on Azure/DevOps best practices.
• Set up logging and monitoring with Log Analytics, App Insights, and Azure Monitor.
• Evaluate new Azure technologies and recommend improvements.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for cloud apps.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and document resolutions.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
