Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to design scalable, secure Azure architectures and translate business needs into cloud reference designs and reusable patterns.

You will lead cloud migration, modernization, and M&A initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver resilient cloud solutions while enforcing Zero Trust, security, and FinOps practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Azure experience (IaaS, PaaS, networking, security).
• Proficient with DevOps tools: GitHub Enterprise, Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible.
• Strong cloud networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, SD-WAN.
• Experience designing highly available and disaster-resilient architectures.
• Experience leading cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Familiarity with cloud security, governance, identity management, and Zero Trust.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure Azure cloud architectures.
• Assess current environments and define target-state cloud architectures.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and application re-platforming initiatives.
• Support cloud strategy and integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions.
• Partner with product owners, application teams, and infrastructure teams to define requirements and solution approaches.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and GitHub workflows.
• Improve CI/CD processes and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with Security and Risk teams to incorporate governance and Zero Trust principles.
• Monitor workload performance, availability, resiliency, and cloud costs while promoting FinOps.
• Present architecture recommendations and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and architects on cloud technologies and best practices.

This individual will design and refine scalable, secure Azure-based cloud architectures and translate business requirements into practical cloud reference designs, blueprints, and reusable patterns. The role will lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, support M&A integration efforts, and collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Knowledge of Well-Architected Frameworks and multi-tenant architectures.
• Experience supporting cloud strategy for M&A integrations.
