Job summary

JDA TSG is seeking an Azure Platforms Expert to lead cloud-native modernization projects in Azure, guiding teams through App Services, APIM, and microservices with a focus on DevOps excellence.

You will implement containerization with AKS and ACA, leverage GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted development, and drive secure CI/CD workflows in GitHub and Azure DevOps across complex engagements.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years in software engineering or cloud architecture roles focused on Azure Platform.
• Experience with Terraform and/or Bicep.
• Proven modernization of monolithic apps to microservices or container-based architectures.
• Hands-on knowledge of GitHub, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipeline engineering.
• Strong customer engagement skills for technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience delivering cloud-native solutions across architecture, DevOps, scaling, and support.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through design and deployment of modern architectures on Azure (App Services, APIM, microservices).

We have immediate opportunities for an Azure Platforms – App Service; APIM; Microservices Architecture Expert who lives and breathes Cloud and AI – App Innovation in Azure, cloud-native architecture, and DevOps excellence to join our growing Customer Engineer (CE) team.

This role centers on helping small, medium, and enterprise customers build, deploy, and scale applications using Azure App Services, API Management, microservices, and container platforms like AKS and Azure Container Apps (ACA).

You’ll also guide development teams in integrating AI‑driven productivity tools like GitHub Copilot while shaping secure and efficient CI/CD workflows in GitHub and Azure DevOps environments.

This is a highly strategic and technical role, where you’ll collaborate with customer leadership, architects, and developers to unlock business agility and innovation through modern cloud‑native practices.

Key Skills & Technologies

• Azure Application Services: App Services, APIM, Logic Apps, Azure Functions (preferred).
• Architecture & Dev Practices: Microservices, 12‑Factor App principles, Domain‑Driven Design (DDD), RESTful API design.
• Containers & Orchestration: Docker, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), ACA (Azure Container Apps), Helm.
• DevOps & CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines.
• AI‑Enhanced Dev: GitHub Copilot integration, secure AI‑assisted development, and coding at scale.
• Security & Governance: Azure RBAC, workload identity, managed identities, secrets management.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform and/or Bicep.

Ideal Candidate Will Have
