Job summary

KBR Careers in Houston is seeking an experienced Azure Administrator to manage day-to-day Azure environment operations, monitoring, and security. You will partner with Cloud Architects, Cybersecurity, and Applications teams to ensure reliable, compliant, and cost-effective cloud services.

The role emphasizes automation with PowerShell and Azure CLI, supporting IaaS and PaaS, governance, disaster recovery, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/CS/IS or related field.
• 2-4+ years hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure.
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain security clearance if needed.
• Experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS, security, governance, and cost management.
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and IaC tools.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and cloud resources.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• Implement governance, security controls, and cost optimisation practices.
• Develop automation using PowerShell and Azure CLI; contribute to continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Infra, Networking, Cybersecurity, and App teams; manage incidents and DR activities.
