Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking an Azure Automation Engineer to lead enterprise automation across the Microsoft ecosystem, focusing on Intune, 365, Entra ID, Azure Automation, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Foundry.

The role emphasizes designing scalable, secure automation solutions and reducing manual effort while collaborating with Infrastructure and IT security teams to enhance governance and reporting across Windows devices and cloud services.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft cloud technologies in large enterprise environments.
Hands-on design and maintenance of enterprise automation solutions.
Strong expertise with Intune, 365 Admin, Entra ID, Azure Automation, and Graph API.
Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Copilot Studio.
Experience implementing AI-driven automation and secure identity management.
Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

Administer and optimize Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, device compliance, application deployment, and policy management.
Design and implement onboarding, provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle processes for Windows devices.
Develop automation solutions for device compliance monitoring, remediation, patching, and reporting.
Support endpoint security initiatives in partnership with Infrastructure and Information Security teams.
Design, build, and maintain enterprise automation solutions using Azure Automation, Functions, Logic Apps, and PowerShell.
Automate Microsoft 365 administration tasks including user provisioning, licensing, group management, and access governance.
Create and maintain automation workflows for operational reporting, compliance, and platform administration.
Design and support Power Platform solutions (Power Automate/Apps/Dataverse) and Copilot Studio.
Develop AI-powered workflows and conversational solutions to improve business processes and user productivity.
Build AI-enabled automation using Azure AI Foundry and related services; identify opportunities for optimization.
