Job description

For one of our Partners, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced (+6 years) Azure Architect to join the team for the DRCC (Dedicated Region Cloud at Customer) project in a telecom company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud solutions to meet the project's requirements.

Location: full remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Azure cloud solutions for the DRCC project, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including network staff, vendors, and providers, to integrate planning and delivery activities.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis of various network solutions.
• Manage the financial aspects of cloud operations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team, ensuring best practices in cloud architecture and deployment.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Azure Architect, with a strong background in Cloud architecture and deployment.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Strong understanding of network architecture, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment..
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the telecom industry.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar are highly desirable.
• German language knowledge.
