Fairbanks Morse Defense is hiring an IT Systems Engineer to design, build, deploy, and operate AI/BI/automation solutions on Microsoft Azure, with a focus on secure, production-grade delivery in a GCC High GovCloud environment. You will turn CI ideas into integrated, auditable solutions and drive real-time visibility via dashboards.

The role emphasizes AI agent development (RAG), secure APIs, data pipelines, and integration with Oracle ERP, Salesforce, and CPQ tools.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in IT, software, or automation development with leadership.
• Strong Azure experience across compute, storage, networking, identity, and AI services.
• Proven production deployment of AI agents and RAG workflows.
• Experience with modern AI coding tools (Codex, Copilot, Claude).

Responsibilities

• Lead design, build, and deployment of AI/BI/automation across the enterprise.
• Develop secure Azure solutions in GCC High GovCloud with governance.
• Architect network integrations and CI/CD pipelines for repeatable deployments.
• Ensure security and compliance per NIST 800-171 and CMMC controls.
• Mentor developers and manage CI automation initiatives.
