Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Senior Azure AI Solutions Architect/Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and deployment of enterprise AI solutions in a federal environment. You will configure Azure AI services, build prototypes and production solutions, and ensure secure integration with existing systems.

The role emphasizes hands-on implementation, including AI-assisted document processing, enterprise search, and RAG-based applications, with a remote setup serving the Washington, D.C. area.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise software or cloud solutions.
• Bachelor's degree and 12 years commensurate experience/clearance requirement.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, and implementation of enterprise Generative AI solutions in Azure.
• Design and implement solutions using Azure AI services, Azure Foundry, and Azure AI Search.
• Architect RAG solutions over enterprise data and enable AI-assisted document intelligence.
• Develop secure integration patterns with existing applications, APIs, and data stores.
