Job summary

Avanza LLC is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications using modern LLM architectures, with a focus on Microsoft Azure AI services. You will experiment with AI Foundry SDK, Claude Code, and OpenAI Codex to generate and refine production code across Power Platform, .NET, and Azure integrations.

The role requires 1–2+ years in AI development, strong Python skills, and familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/AI/Data Science required.
• 1–2+ years experience in AI development.
• Python proficiency required.
• Experience with Azure ML / AI Foundry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications using modern LLM/GPT architectures.
• Develop intelligent workflows and solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure AI services and tools.
• Experiment with Azure AI Foundry SDK and prompt engineering to fine-tune models and outputs.
• Use Claude Code or OpenAI Codex to generate and refactor production-quality code for Microsoft stacks.
• Review, debug, test, and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and standards; manage changes via Git and CI/CD.
• Apply prompt/context engineering to guide coding agents and document productivity improvements.
• Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and developers to transform business problems into AI-enabled solutions.
• Conduct research on AI advancements and integrate viable solutions into enterprise architectures.
• Ensure AI systems meet performance, security, and ethical guidelines.
• Produce technical documentation and training for end-users and teams.
