Position Description:
This position is located in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, or Dallas, TX; however hybrid model is accepted.
CGI is seeking a Senior Azure AI Architect / Foundry Engineer. This candidate will work on projects for one of the largest financial institutions in the US, and work in a challenging technical environment, gaining exposure to advanced tools and technology suites.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, cloud-integrated web applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a focus on Azure-hosted environments.
- Craft responsive, intuitive interfaces for AI-driven applications, ensuring high performance and seamless cross-platform experiences.
- Collaborate across engineering, design, data science, and product teams to translate business requirements into front-end architectures that align with AI solution strategies.
- Possess deep understanding of integrating with RESTful APIs and handling JSON data in the context of Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Cognitive Services, Azure API Management).
- Exhibit Hands-on experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Angular CLI, JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft 365 tools for version control, issue tracking, and documentation.
- Familiar with Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban), sprint planning, and backlog management within cloud-native application development cycles.
- Perform front-end testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Karma, with strong debugging skills using browser dev tools to ensure robust and reliable user experiences.
- Optimize front-end performance and troubleshoot complex UI issues in AI-powered or data-centric applications.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation, component blueprints, and solution overviews tailored to diverse audiences including engineering teams and business stakeholders.
