Qualifications

  • Mindestens 18 Jahre alt und bereit, eine Certified Caregiver-Lizenz zu erwerben.
  • Erfahrung in der Altenpflege oder ähnlichen Bereichen ist von Vorteil.

Responsibilities

MEDICATION ASSISTANT (AZ CCG)

We are seeking the right person to partner with our residents to help them continue to live purposeful lives and make the most of every day by providing the best care and support. We specialize in assisted living and memory care. Highgate Senior Living's mission is to help each resident live a life of purpose, with each of us playing a crucial role. We operate communities in the western US and are looking for a Medication Assistant.

If you're establishing your career in seniors housing, have a passion for serving others, and have experience in customer service, hospitality, or healthcare, this could be a great opportunity. The position can be full or part-time and involves caring for residents through hands-on or standby assistance. Providing care means supporting the whole person physically, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually.

The ideal candidate may hold a current Certified Caregiver license, be organized, detail-oriented, positive, and self-motivated. Experience in medication passing is preferred, and training will be provided for certification. Strong communication and critical thinking skills are essential for interacting with seniors. Relatable Experience:
  • Experience in assisted living or memory care as a Certified Medication Assistant or similar role
  • Experience providing care or in detail-oriented roles
  • Hospitality or healthcare experience
  • Customer service background
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated kindness, patience, and compassion
  • Volunteer work with vulnerable groups
Qualifications:
  1. At least 18 years old
  2. Current Certified Caregiver license or ability to obtain one quickly
  3. CPR & First Aid Certification
  4. Negative TB test
  5. Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move during work hours
  6. Ability to lift or transfer up to 25 lbs with assistance
  7. Pass criminal background check
  8. Good time management skills
  9. Ability to work independently
  10. Strong organizational and communication skills
  11. Willingness to attend training

We offer a competitive benefits package, a voice in our organization, and opportunities for innovation. The hourly wage ranges from $19.00 to $23.50, depending on credentials, experience, and skills.
