MEDICATION ASSISTANT (AZ CCG)
We are looking for the right person to partner with our residents to help them continue to live their lives of purpose and make the most of every day by providing the best care and support we can give them. We specialize in assisted living and memory care. Highgate Senior Living's mission is to devote ourselves to help each resident live a life of purpose and each of us plays a crucial role in doing so. We operate communities in the western US and are seeking the right Medication Assistant to join our team. If you are working on establishing your career in the growing field of seniors housing, have a love and passion for serving others, a background in customer service, hospitality, or healthcare, this may be a good opportunity for you. This position is either full or part-time and includes being responsible for the care of our residents, which can be hands-on and/or stand-by assistance as needed. At Highgate, providing care means to provide for the whole person, providing physical assistance with activities of daily living and emotional, psychological, and soulful support.
The best candidate may have a current Certified Caregiver license, be an organized and detail-oriented individual with a positive and self-motivated attitude. Experience in passing medications will be preferred and we are willing to provide the required training to become certified to pass meds for the right candidate. You must have strong communication and critical thinking abilities as interacting with seniors while providing care requires both abilities. Our compensation package will be flexible for this role based on the credentialing, tenure, and skill sets each candidate brings for consideration. The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $23.50 per hour. Prior experience working with seniors is a plus.
