We are seeking Part‑Time Direct Support Professionals in our HBCS (Home and Community Based Services) program who are passionate about working with individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities include providing assistance to individuals living independently by taking them out into the community, helping with daily in‑home tasks, and providing behavioral support.

HCBS Direct Support Professional hourly rates range from $15.50 to $17.00. Ratios for Cochise County (Sierra Vista, Bisbee, Douglas, Wilcox, Huachuca City, etc.) apply.

Qualifications

• Desire and interest in working with people with disabilities or special needs and knowledge of and respect for cultural differences.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Verbal and written communication skills adequate to the specific job.
• Ability to successfully pass background check with Arizona Central Registry, Arizona Adult Protective Services, and obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance.
• Specific language abilities (other than English) may be required.
• Reliable transportation to the work site and, if applicable, for transporting people.
• Access to a telephone.
• Eligibility to meet minimum training requirements and complete renewals as assigned.
• Must be 21+ if required to drive an approved RISE vehicle; must pass drug test, maintain a valid driver’s license, and provide an acceptable driving record.
• If a personal vehicle is used for transporting people, the applicant must provide current auto insurance that meets the minimum requirements of RISE insurance policies.
