Ogletree Deakins in Phoenix seeks an experienced employment litigation associate licensed in both Arizona and California to join our team representing premier employers. The role involves CA PAGA/class/collective and single-plaintiff matters with mentoring and development opportunities in a collegial environment.

The right candidate will perform legal research, draft memoranda, motions, pleadings, and position statements, attend court conferences, and counsel clients on employment-law matters.

Qualifications

JD with dual license in Arizona and California in good standing.
3+ years in state and federal California courts.
Experience in FEHA and/or PAGA litigation.

Responsibilities

Perform legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and pleadings.
Attend court conferences and handle discovery-related activities.
Draft position statements and dispositive motions.
Counsel clients on employment-law matters and case strategy.
Support CA PAGA/class/collective and single-plaintiff matters.
