Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Detroit, MI is seeking Axle Maintenance Team Members to install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair production machinery. You will work onsite and participate in preventative maintenance tasks to keep line operations running smoothly.

The role offers a base rate of $40.19 per hour, with 7.5% shift premiums for afternoon and midnight shifts, paid holidays, profit sharing, COLA adjustments, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) matching and tuition

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Certified Journeyperson card holder or ability to document 8 years of experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience with electrical and/or mechanical maintenance and repair.
• Experience with PLC and CNC controlled equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair production machinery.
• Service and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
• Read blueprints and work with engineers and service technicians.
• Perform planned maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Operate machining processes with tool changes and setup.
• Work with PLC/CNC controlled equipment.
