Daimler Truck North America is hiring an Axle Maintenance Team Member in Detroit, MI. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing production machinery on site.

We offer a compensatied schedule with 7.5% shift premiums, paid holidays, COLA adjustments, 401(k) with company match, profit sharing and parental leave. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Journeyperson card or ability to document 8 years of experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience with electrical and/or mechanical maintenance and repair.
• Experience with machining processes, tool change and setup.
• Experience with PLC and/or CNC controlled equipment.

Responsabilités

• General Maintenance.
• Machine Repair.
• Service, troubleshooting and repair of Electrical/Mechanical Systems.
• Maintenance of Heating/Cooling systems.
• Pipefitting and Welding.
• Lifting, transport and rigging of materials.
