Overview

This position is primarily responsible for performing repetitive work‑station or line assembly operations to mass produce electrical drive axles or to assemble those components (sub‑assemblies) into final completion of the towing tractor or other manufactured products by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs any assembly type functions, using hand or power tools
• Assemble electrical drive axle
• Breakdown and rebuild transmissions
• Sub‑assemblies for electrical axle and transmission
• Operates any equipment needed to perform job
• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
• Inspects own work performed prior to Quality Inspection and Final Inspection
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Production Supervisor
• Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Education And/Or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Use of safety glasses and steel toed shoes required
