Cognizant is seeking an AWS WorkSpaces Migration Architect to lead migration planning, design, and orchestration for client environments. The role focuses on architecture leadership across discovery, sizing, dependency mapping, and transition planning.
The candidate will design desktop delivery models, implement FSLogix-based profiles, and develop IaC modules (Terraform, CloudFormation) with CI/CD integration, enabling secure, scalable WorkSpaces deployments.
Lead discovery, assessment, sizing, dependency mapping, and migration planning activities.
Design migration waves, pilot deployments, cutover strategies, rollback procedures, and transition plans.
Deploy:
AWS WorkSpaces Personal (Persistent)
AWS WorkSpaces Pools (Non-Persistent)
Design desktop pools based on workload personas and business requirements.
Define scaling, capacity planning, high availability, and disaster recovery architecture.
Establish profile management and user experience optimization strategies.

Recommend appropriate desktop delivery model:

The Salary for this position will be 140,000 to 160,000 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
