The role demands 5+ years in finance and accounting, a Bachelor's in accounting or related field, and strong experience with data mining tools and major financial systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and 5+ years in finance/accounting roles.
• CPA preferred and experience with Big Four or Fortune 500 clients is desirable.
• 5+ years identifying data issues, root causes, and escalation plans.
• 5+ years delivering financial models, analysis, and recommendations with impact.
• Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Supporting various aspects of our accounting and reporting process.
• End-to-end process ownership to support finance and business partners.
• Lead delivery of accounting tasks and projects.
• Execute judgments to keep books close monthly.
• Understand internal control design concepts and assess controls efficacy.
• Escalating risks and issues to leadership as needed.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Enhance partnerships between accounting and business, finance, tax, and IT.
• Research, conclude and memorialize technical accounting position papers.
