As an AWS Solutions Architect at ProArch, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust cloud solutions that meet business requirements while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Your role will involve:
- Assessing and understanding client requirements to provide architectural solutions on AWS that align with their business objectives.
- Designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud architecture following best practices of AWS services.
- Collaborating with development teams to create cloud- applications and integrating existing applications with AWS services.
- Leading the migration of on-premises applications and infrastructure to AWS cloud.
- Establishing and maintaining governance for AWS environments, addressing compliance and security needs.
- Conducting training and workshops for our clients on AWS technologies and best practices.
- Staying updated on AWS services, solutions, and trends to continuously improve capabilities.
- Building proof of concept for proposed solutions to validate architecture decisions effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience architecting complex, scalable, and high-performing AWS solutions.
- Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure components, including AWS Compute, AWS Storage, AWS Networking, and AWS Security Services.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Broad understanding of AWS, particularly PaaS
- Working experience with AWS cloud PaaS data services (e.g. Data Lakes, SQL, SQL Data Warehouse, Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, PowerBI, Logic Apps)
- Ability to architect across the four V’s of data (Volume, Variety, Velocity and Veracity)
- Programming experience in a modern , preferably C# and/or Python
- Knowledge of web and app development
- Experience with AWS DevOps, Pipelines, Repos, Boards, CI/CD, ARM Templates, AWS CLI.
