Job summary

Infosys Limited, through its Financial Services unit, is seeking an Infrastructure Project Lead 1 to drive AWS-based architectures and secure delivery across banking, wealth management, and insurance projects. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure on‑time, high‑quality results while prioritizing security and compliance.

This role offers visibility into AI-enabled transformation efforts and large-scale cloud initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in AWS Architecture and security-focused cloud designs.
• Proven track record in DevSecOps and secure SDLC practices.
• Ability to threat-model architectures and implement mitigations.

Responsibilities

• Develop project timelines, proactively identify and address resource discrepancies, to ensure timely project completion
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients, facilitating communication through regular meetings and milestone reviews
• Support technical teams in managing production support operations, focusing on incident resolution, deployment efficiency, and smooth change implementation
• Monitor project deliverables across all phases, to meet established quality benchmarks and stakeholder expectations

In the assigned Job Role of Infrastructure Project Lead 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Develop project timelines, proactively identify and address resource discrepancies, to ensure timely project completion
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients, facilitating communication through regular meetings and milestone reviews
• Support technical teams in managing production support operations, focusing on incident resolution, deployment efficiency, and smooth change implementation
• Monitor project deliverables across all phases, to meet established quality benchmarks and stakeholder expectations

• An ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders through effective communication
• Focused governance over project scope and identification of additional project opportunities

Required Skill and Experience

• Experience and proven Track record in AWS Architecture and AWS Services (Compute, IAM, RDS, Resource Policies, Network, Messaging, Data Storage, CI/CD, AI/ML, ETL, Serverless, ECS/EKS).
• Experience with AWS security pillars, best practices and well designed architecture. Experience in AI/ML is preferable.
• Experience with Information Security Architecture - Application security, Threat Modelling, API Security, DevSecOps, Pipeline security, Infrastructure security, AuthN/Z, Encryption, Key Management, Data discovery and encryption, SIEM, CSPM, CWPP, Access Controls, Container Security
• Experience designing Architectures based on Security Standards and threat model the designs to identify issues and design mitigating controls.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Knowledge on Industry security standards and frameworks (OWASP, NIST CIS, FED Ramp, ISO, SOX etc.).
• Experience with System Design, API Driven architecture, Open Standards, stateless, Resiliency, High Availability, System and SaaS Integrations.
• AWS advanced Certification (Professional, Specialty), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or equivalent

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
