Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 1 for the US with strong AWS, Python, and containerization skills. You will participate in SDLC activities, design discussions, and documentation to support digital transformation in financial services.

The role requires the ability to work across cloud-native architectures and contribute to production-ready software solutions. This full-time position in Hartford, CT involves relocation/travel as needed, and requires authorization to work in the United

Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures across microservices.
  • Experience with Python and scripting in modern development pipelines.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Git) and container technologies.
  • Familiarity with production monitoring and reliability improvements.
  • Willingness to relocate and travel as needed.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document stakeholder requirements.
  • Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and aid in process documentation.
  • Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications per design specs.
  • Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to improve software performance.
  • Support integration of new features and smooth transitions within the system.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot live applications; create documentation for maintenance.
  • Document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:
  • Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements
  • Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications, and aid in creation of process documentation.
  • Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements
  • Execute test plans, analyse outcomes, and report defects to the development team, to facilitate enhancement of software performance
  • Support the integration of new software features, facilitating smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure
  • Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance
  • Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository

Required Skill And Experience
  • Experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, ECR, EFS, EMR, Lambda, Step functions, RDS, Glue, S3, API Gateway), SQS/SNS, REST APIs & Microservices.
  • Experience in Python libraries and scripting
  • Experience with CI/CD (GitLab, Git), Docker & Kubernetes, Terraform (IaC), SDLC.
  • Familiarities with Cloud-native architecture patterns, Production monitoring & reliability improvements
  • Experience with System Design & Scalability.
Preferred Skill And Experience
  • Experience with Pyspark
  • Experience with Fast API/Flask frameworks, Large-scale data processing (JSON/XML/Parquet) is preferred
  • Experience with Distributed Systems, SQL & NoSQL (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
Additional Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
