Job summary

Infosys is hiring a Technology Consultant 2 in Hartford, CT to drive cloud-native software solutions for financial services. You will design distributed architectures, build and maintain microservices, and participate in the full SDLC with a focus on reliability and scalability.

The role requires hands-on coding, strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical development tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience designing distributed, event-driven architectures on AWS.
• Strong understanding of microservices, data pipelines, and cloud-native patterns.
• Ability to elicit requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
• Hands-on coding experience with modern languages and cloud services.
• Proven ability to review code, test changes, and maintain quality.
• Experience with training users and creating documentation.
• Proactive in resolving production issues and preventing outages.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill And Experience

• Design and implement distributed, event‑driven architectures using AWS services -
• ECS / EKS, EventBridge, RDS, ECR, EFS, Redshift, Redshift Spectrum, S3, EC2, Bedrock, SageMaker, Textract
• Build and manage microservices‑based systems with high availability and scalability.
• Maintain end‑to‑end scalable web and cloud‑based applications.
• Drive automation and orchestration using Lambda, Step Functions, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Experience in Oracle Database (Dynamo DB is good to have).
• Experience in optimizing data‑driven applications using Microservices
• Experience in python Libraries and pandas

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
