Job summary
IDEXX is seeking a Data Engineer for its IT Data Engineering team to support near-real-time LIMS data pipelines and APIs. The role focuses on production-grade data systems, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC, leveraging AWS services for streaming and batch data flows.
Candidates should have 2–4 years of experience in AWS-based data platforms, Python, and API development, with onsite availability in the New England area. IDEXX offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years building production-grade data systems and services.
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, Glue, Kinesis, EMR, S3, API Gateway, IAM.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain streaming ingestion, API-based data workflows, and distributed data transformations using AWS services.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs for data ingestion and consumption.
- Design and implement platform automation and deterministic deployment workflows.
