Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking a Python and Java Developer proficient in AWS to design, build, and maintain full-stack applications. You will develop REST APIs, microservices, and backend services while crafting responsive front-ends with modern JS frameworks.

Responsibilities include cloud design, CI/CD automation, and performance testing, with a focus on secure, scalable architectures in hybrid environments. Collaborative engineering culture with documentation and mentorship for juniors.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java and Python with Spring/Bootstrap frameworks.
• Experience designing REST APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL data modeling and optimization skills.
• Hands-on AWS cloud experience (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS).
• Familiar with Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, and CI/CD tooling.
• Knowledge of security, authentication, authorization, and IAM best practices.
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and support full-stack apps in Java, Python, and modern web tech.
• Develop REST APIs, microservices, and backend services; create responsive UIs with React/Angular/Vue.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases; optimize data models and queries.
• Create secure, scalable cloud apps in AWS or hybrid environments; participate in architecture reviews.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD, containerization, and cloud deployments.
• Diagnose production issues and provide ongoing technical support; document solutions.
