Job summary

7Th Sky Tech in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong Python expertise to join our engineering team on a full-time basis. You will work on enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, Python, REST APIs, microservices, and modern front-end technologies.

The role requires hands-on experience across backend services, frontend interfaces with React/Angular, and AWS/Azure cloud.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java/J2EE development experience.
• Strong Spring Boot / Spring Framework experience.
• Hands-on Python development experience.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and Microservices.
• Experience with React or Angular.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Experience with Kafka, MQ, or event-driven architecture.
• Strong SQL/database experience.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab.
• Experience with AWS or Azure.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
• Develop backend services and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
• Develop Python-based APIs, automation scripts, data-processing solutions, and integrations.
• Build responsive user interfaces using React or Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with Kafka or other messaging/event-driven platforms.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Implement unit, integration, and automated testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and technical documentation.
• Work closely with QA, DevOps, product, and business teams.
