Job summary

Amazon in Sterling, VA, is seeking InfraDelivery Install Technicians to move and install large enterprise equipment, install fiber and copper cabling, and patch between equipment. You’ll operate in 24/7 environments and travel to active data center sites as needed.

Qualifications include 18+ months in data centers, network cabling experience, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT field. A relocation stipend may be provided; benefits include health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 18+ months of experience in data center or related critical environment roles.
• Experience with copper and optical fiber cabling, switches and routers.
• Experience with network cabling, optic types, and test equipment (VFL, power meter, OTDR).

Responsibilities

• Moving and installing large enterprise equipment.
• Installing fiber and copper cabling and patching between devices.
• Ensuring safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Following established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Traveling within and outside the regional work area as required.
