Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in the US to contribute to data engineering and ETL solutions. You will engage in requirements elicitation, design discussions, coding, and production support across banking, wealth management, and insurance domains.

Responsibilities include developing scalable data processing solutions in AWS, leveraging Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC, and building robust data pipelines with Python and Docker for containerized deployment.

Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering or ETL with Informatica PowerCenter.
• Experience in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
• Experience in AWS cloud services including EMR, ECS, Glue, Redshift, SNS, SQS, Lambda, CloudWatch and S3.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience supporting Data Warehouse environments and large-scale data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker.
• Excellent problem-solving and strong verbal & written communication.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned parts of business requirements.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features into existing applications.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive strategies to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.
