Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to drive data engineering and ETL initiatives in Reston, VA. The role focuses on Informatica PowerCenter migrations, AWS services, and building scalable data pipelines with Python.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to design and testing, and help maintain robust data warehouse and reporting solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Experience in data engineering or ETL development with Informatica PowerCenter.
• Proven experience with AWS cloud services (EMR, ECS, Glue, Redshift, S3).
• Strong Python skills for data processing and automation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting business requirements.
• Facilitate design discussions and document decisions for development teams.
• Participate in coding and integrate features into applications with emphasis on stability.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies and coordinate bug fixes to ensure quality.
