Job summary

Peregrine Advisors is seeking a DevSecOps/platform engineer to own delivery pipelines and environments carrying federal systems into production. You will implement CI/CD with security gates, IaC, and monitoring, supporting RMF authorization and continuous monitoring in AWS or client-managed on-prem environments.

You will help launch new capabilities, tools, and lines of business while maintaining security and auditability from day one.

Qualifications

At least four years of DevSecOps or platform engineering experience.
A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Hands-on CI/CD pipeline automation with security gates (AWS-native or GitHub/GitLab CI).
Infrastructure as code (CloudFormation or Terraform) and containerization.
Automated security testing (SAST/DAST/SCA) and vulnerability scanning.
Scripting in Python or Bash.
Git-based version control and monitoring/logging.
Basic proficiency in writing, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

Own assigned delivery pipelines, automation, and environments for production.
Implement CI/CD with security gates and evidence for RMF authorization.
Manage infrastructure as code and containerization for reproducible environments.
Monitor, log, and respond to vulnerabilities and incidents.
Support progressive delivery, blue/green, and canary deployments.
Ensure pipeline reliability and provide metrics for ATO and continuous monitoring.
