Job summary

Harmony Healthcare IT in South Bend, IN, is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to design, automate, secure, and support AWS cloud environments and CI/CD platforms. This role serves as a technical expert in Infrastructure-as-Code, cloud operations, security, observability, and deployment automation.

The position requires hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Python, and CI/CD tooling, plus collaboration with engineering teams to improve pipelines and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years hands-on experience working with AWS cloud technologies.
• 2+ years professional experience using Terraform in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support AWS infrastructure across Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, including reusable modules and standardized deployments.
• Administer AWS IAM, networking, encryption, authentication, and secrets management while enforcing security best practices and least-privilege access.
• Support cloud platforms and services including RDS, Glue, Athena, CloudWatch, and related operational tooling.
• Develop automation solutions using Python and Git-based workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, reliability, and observability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and cloud platform issues.
• Participate in on-call support and other assigned duties.
• Other duties as assigned
