Job summary

Particle41 is seeking a DevOps Engineer (AWS) to enhance software delivery and IT operations for client systems. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to build, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure, ensuring reliability and security across AWS services.

The role emphasizes automation, CI/CD, and IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation, plus monitoring with CloudWatch and proactive performance tuning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS and CloudWatch.
• Proven DevOps Engineer background with CI/CD expertise.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef and container tech (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Git proficiency and understanding of CI/CD concepts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and operations to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate build, deployment, and configuration management processes.
• Manage AWS cloud infrastructure with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Establish and monitor CI/CD pipelines across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Develop monitoring solutions with CloudWatch and other AWS tools.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance in deployment and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and runtime issues and participate in on-call rotations.
