Job summary

Delta Progress Group Inc. seeks an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with 8+ years of expertise to manage AWS cloud infrastructure and implement DevOps practices.

You will design scalable environments, build CI/CD pipelines, and optimize deployments, emphasizing security, availability, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps into the SDLC and help reduce costs while improving performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and AWS integration.
• Strong infrastructure-as-code knowledge (CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS/Fargate).
• Scripting in Python or Bash for automation.
• Strong security practices in AWS and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and high-availability AWS environments.

• Manage and optimize containerized applications with ECS, EKS, or Fargate.
• Monitor AWS resources using CloudWatch and implement logging and alerting solutions.
• Analyze performance and cost metrics to optimize resource usage and minimize costs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and deployments.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure seamless deployment of applications by managing and automating the release process.
• Collaborate with other teams to enhance cloud-based solutions and address operational challenges.
• Document AWS infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and automation scripts.
• Stay up-to-date with AWS best practices and industry trends to continuously improve cloud operations.

• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, with a focus on AWS integration.


• Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.


• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as ECS, EKS, or Fargate.


• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar for automation tasks.


• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.


• Strong understanding of security practices in AWS, including network security and access management.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex AWS environments.
