You’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

Join IBM as an AWS Data Scientist, advising and delivering data, analytics, and AI solutions for public sector clients as they navigate complex business, operational, and societal challenges. Working at the intersection of data science, cloud technology, and consulting, you will help organisations translate data into actionable insights, strengthen decision‑making, and deliver measurable outcomes for citizens and communities.

As part of IBM’s AI, Analytics & Data Science practice, you will partner with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to shape data‑driven strategies, design and implement scalable analytics solutions, and accelerate the modernisation of public sector data estates. Leveraging AWS cloud capabilities alongside IBM’s consulting expertise, you will help clients unlock the value of their data, improve operational performance, and establish sustainable, insight‑led approaches to transformation.

Responsibilities

Preferred technical and professional experience

Experience developing and applying Generative AI, foundation models, and LLM‑based solutions.

Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, SQL, DB2, and MongoDB.
Understanding of Linux and Windows environments and cloud‑based application architectures.
