Trilyon, Inc. seeks an AWS Tech Lead to drive modernization and migration of legacy data platforms to cloud-native AWS environments. You will design high-level solutions and lead data engineering initiatives across teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of AWS, Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and DevOps experience, with strong leadership, collaboration, and a track record delivering scalable cloud data architectures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud, Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and data engineering.
• Proven expertise designing and optimizing serverless and cloud data services (AWS Glue, Lambda, API integrations).
• Deep understanding of security, authentication mechanisms, and data platform modernization.
• Strong background with DevOps tools, version control (GitHub), and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Demonstrated leadership in technical design, Agile methodologies, and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and migration of legacy/home-grown data platforms to modern, cloud-native AWS data solutions.
• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, PySpark, Spark SQL, and custom ETL frameworks.
• Collaborate with business and cross-functional teams in an Agile/SCRUM environment to translate business needs into technical designs.
• Drive code reviews, design evaluations, and POC implementations to solve complex data processing challenges.
• Implement robust testing frameworks, secure API integrations, and CI/CD deployment pipelines using GitHub and AWS DevOps tools.
• Provide technical leadership, post-production support, and operational excellence to continually raise engineering standards.
