Job summary

GSK Solutions Inc. is seeking an AWS Data Engineer for an onsite Bellevue, WA engagement. The role focuses on assessing AWS processes, designing orchestration, and delivering cloud-based data pipelines.

The candidate will partner with business and technical stakeholders to define future-state requirements, improve concurrency, reduce processing times, and increase reliability across complex AWS environments. Onsite presence is required.

• Experience designing and documenting data workflows and processes.

• Experience participating in data conversion and data maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing AWS processes, workflows, integrations, schedules, and dependencies.
• Translate objectives into technical orchestration and architecture requirements.
• Design and recommend approaches for orchestration across complex AWS environments.
• Identify opportunities to improve dependencies, concurrency, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain cloud-based data pipelines and automated workflows.
• Design monitoring, alerting, error handling, retry, and recovery capabilities.
• Evaluate designs and propose improvements based on value, cost, scalability, and risk.
• Create clear technical documentation and architecture recommendations.
