Job summary

GSPANN Technologies, Inc. is seeking an AWS Data Architect in Beverly Hills, CA for a long-term role with a 3-4 day hybrid work arrangement.

The candidate will design and architect end-to-end data solutions using a primary data warehouse, leveraging AWS Redshift and Glue, and will work with Python/PySpark, SQL and DBT to deliver scalable data pipelines. Ideal candidates have 12–20 years of experience in software/data engineering or related fields, strong problem solving skills, and experience

Qualifications

• 12-20 years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, or related field.
• Design and architect end-to-end data solutions leveraging primary data warehouse.
• Strong problem solving and analytical mindset.
• Ability to write robust, maintainable, and extendable code in Python/Pyspark, SQL and DBT.
• Experience with cloud architecture and technologies, in particular AWS, Redshift & AWS Glue.
• Experience with technologies like Spark, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Hive, Terraform is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Databricks would be strongly preferred.
• Experience with agile development and test driven development.
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Effective communication skills (with team members, the business, and in code).
