Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Canton, MS is seeking Network Install Technicians to install and maintain large-scale enterprise equipment in AWS data centers. You will travel between sites and operate in a 24/7 environment to ensure reliable infrastructure.

You will cable fiber and copper, follow safety standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep networks running at peak performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with copper and optical fiber cabling, switches and routers.
• 18+ months in data center or critical environment roles.
• 18+ months with network cabling types and test equipment (VFL, power meter, OTDR).

Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patching between equipment.
• Maintain safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside the regional work area is required.
