Job summary
KTek Resourcing LLC is seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect to design scalable, secure data platforms on AWS. The role emphasizes Medallion Architecture, data lakes, and enterprise governance.
You will design end-to-end AWS data architectures, build data pipelines, and implement BI integrations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with S3, Glue, Redshift, Lake Formation, and data governance.
Qualifications
- Experience in designing enterprise data platforms on AWS.
- Hands-on with Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
- Expertise with S3, AWS Glue, and Redshift.
- Experience with AWS Lake Formation and Glue Data Catalog.
- Strong understanding of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, ETL/ELT, and governance concepts.
- Experience with BI tools: QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end AWS data architecture using Medallion Architecture.
- Architect scalable data lakes on Amazon S3.
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines with AWS Glue.
- Implement data warehouse solutions with Amazon Redshift.
- Establish data governance, security, and access management.
- Manage metadata and data discovery with Glue Data Catalog.
- Enable BI reporting by integrating with QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Optimize data platform performance, security, and cost.
