Job summary

GSPANN Technologies, Inc is seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect to design and implement end-to-end data solutions in a hybrid role based in Beverly Hills, CA. The candidate will work with data engineers and analytics teams to build scalable data pipelines and data warehouses using AWS services such as Redshift and Glue.

Ideal applicants have 12+ years in software/data roles, strong Python/PySpark, SQL, and DBT skills, and a solid understanding of data modeling, architectures, and Agile/TDD

Qualifications

• 12-20 years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, or related field.
• Design and architect end-to-end data solutions leveraging primary data warehouse.
• Strong problem solving and analytical mindset.
• Ability to write robust, maintainable, and extendable code in Python/Pyspark, SQL and DBT.
• Experience with cloud architecture and technologies, in particular AWS, Redshift & AWS Glue.
• Experience with technologies like Spark, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Hive, Terraform is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Databricks would be strongly preferred.
• Experience with agile development and test driven development
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Effective communication skills (with team members, the business, and in code)

Responsibilities
