Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Technical welding certificate or degree is required.
• Ability to read blueprints is required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, job cards, bill of materials, and routing sheets.
• Set up weld equipment and maintain the weld training area.
• Train and provide guidance to new welding staff.
• Explain and demonstrate welding procedures used at Pierce Manufacturing.
• Evaluate weld test pieces for fairness and accuracy.
• Document weld training and testing information.
• Assist manufacturing with weld equipment and process problem solving.
• Maintain weld procedures as required.
• Aim to achieve Weld Training/Testing Department goals.
